Our Story

Arlington Design started in 1946 when brothers Walter & Leslie Abrahams began making contract furniture for clubs and hotels. Their shop was on Arlington Road in Hull and the name Arlington has remained 72 years on. In the early 1960’s, they moved into the production of kitchens and soon after began selling German kitchens to the luxury market. They quickly gained a reputation for exquisite design, superior product and first-class service.

By the mid-90’s they made the move to Leeds and in 2003 we moved to our current 10,000 sq ft. premises in North Leeds where we have 20 stunning kitchens on display including our hand- built bespoke range and our huge German kitchen collection. Our talented team has expanded to include award winning designers, project managers and installation teams.

About Arlington Design

At Arlington Design, we believe that the very latest in design and ingenuity and quality manufacturing techniques don’t have to break the bank.

We only offer kitchens that we know demonstrate the best value on the market. Our business is built on recommendations and repeat clients so it is of vital importance to us that the products we supply are enjoyed for many years and admired by all.

Sustainability

At Arlington Design, we take responsibility for the impact of our business on the environment. Our quest to become a sustainable company means almost all the wood we source is from certified forest areas. Our strict quality control ensures the excellence of our product is maintained and our kitchens can last a lifetime.
