BACKGROUND: Local Leeds based charity, Zest, is proud to announce the opening of our second teaching kitchen. Kitchen furniture and appliances supplied by Arlington Design. KITCHEN DETAILS: Created by Arlington Designer Kitchens using Moblituri Pop Graphite kitchen units, Caesarstone worktops, ovens by Haier. All other appliances supplied by Caple. WHAT: The Leeds Cookery School @ Kirkgate Market is a new purpose built kitchen designed with community at its very core. We will be delivering some fantastic community projects and have already planned the following activities for the new year. A welcome cafe helping to integrate refugees and people seeking asylum into the wider Leeds community, offering support, friendships and community. A men’s pie club – just guys making pies! Bringing men together to make and bake a pie while helping to tackle social isolation. Cookery skills classes – giving people greater control over the choices they make through teaching residents of Leeds how to cook healthy & affordable meals from scratch.
